Fuse issue?? Please help

I have a rdx 2015. I wanted to convert my low beam halogen headlights to hid. Per directions, I needed to disable drl fuse and do I did. I took out the low beam fuses. When I did that, obviously I couldn't turn them on, but now, I put the fuse back in for both left and right sides, and now the headlights don't turn on anymore. That is with the ordinal factory installed bulbs. I put the fuses exactly where they were located originally. Can anyone help?

It's a possibility you may have compromised the fuses when you took them out. Take them out again and do a continuity test or take them to an auto-zone/napa/pepboys/oreilly store and have them test them for you.

I presume take out the only ones which you fiddled with.
Now are you planning to get HID bulbs into the halogen reflector or are you retrofitting an HID projector? Someone had to ask this question : D.

Ok, I got it to work after resitting the fuses. The instructions to convert halogen to hide to pull the fuse. Does that even make sense? How could I make this work?

If you don't know how to test a fuse's continuity, you probably should not touch your car's electrical system.

Ok guys. That's funny. He simply asked a question.
To the OP. Your car's wiring is optimized for halogen bulbs so let be that way. If you really need to install HID in your car with some amount of safely and avoid the cops, you should do two things.
1) Retrofit an HID projector into your car headlight housing (cheap way) or buy an HID version of headlights (will cost more)
2) use an external wiring harness straight from the battery so that you are not taxing the existing wiring of the car. If these do not sound appealing to you (time, money and effort wise), you should stick with halogen lights.
Even after doing all these modifications your car will still be technically illegally modified but may state pass state inspections and avoid cops. I think the best and safest procedure is to trade your car for another with tech / facelift model. Good luck.
