Has anyone used this scanner to search alarm codes. My alarm keeps going off at inconvenient times. Last rear it was the hood latch sensor that gave a false reading. This year the hood latch sensor checks out after replacement last year. I'm checking to see if the scanner will reveal a code that will tell me which sensor is tripping.

Just check the door switches. The same ones that turn on the interior lights tell the alarm a door is open. You might ask Dave in the service manual requests thread for alarm troubleshooting sections if available.
