Finally! The wait (for me!) is over...

Well after a year of researching and humming and hawing I finally did it. Here's my new RDX! I couldn't find a 2017 advanced package that was discounted enough to make sense, so I went for the 2018. After waiting and waiting for the redesign, I decided that if and when they do the redesign that I'd probably want to wait another year or two to see how it goes, so the wait was finally over for me. The ve

rdict... I LOVE it!

Congrats on the new ride! I really wanted white as well but I couldn't find one within my budget, while also being a CPO, and having black interior. That beige /parchment interior was a effing deal breaker for me which most white RDX's comes with. Also, I believe the saying is "hemming and hawing"

Nice! Those Ford Flexes are deceivingly large. With the low roofline, all it needs is fake wood side trim and Clark Griswold’s Family.

Enjoy your car, everybody here certainly is.

No I think that it's just the way the light is hitting it. I do like this version of the beak grille on the RDX the most out of any beak grilles. I actully wish Acura would have kept it vs that pentagon monstrosity.

Totally agree on the parchment being a deal breaker. This is a black interior. I actually really liked the red exterior, but since it only came with parchment interior, I nixed it. And yep, it's hemming and hawing!

So true!! no Griswold's here, thankfully!
The flex fits my husband (6'2" tall) so well, and is great for all of his toy's (ski's and bikes). It is always a challenge finding cars and other things (hot tubs, etc.) that will work for both of us as I'm 5'1" ....

My wife is 5’0” and I’m 5’11”. She had major trouble getting out of our (now gone) TLX and I had trouble both in and out (ageing hip) so the RDX is the perfect fit for both of us. Seating memory is a very valuable feature for us.

Parchment interior was a requirement for our car, dating back to our ‘93 Legend. One son has a black ‘14 RDX with black interior and she hated it. My other son has our former RDX, the ‘13, black over parchment. She says the lighter color makes the interior more cheery and inviting. Oh, and no Maytag White. Ever. (Just ask her...)

What's that other saying? One man's trash is another's treasure... life would be very boring if we all liked the same thing!

Congrats on the sweet new ride! White is one color I haven't had yet. It looks really good, especially contrasting the black and chrome accents. I've had red, silver, blue, bronze, black... but no white. Maybe my next ride will be white.

Congrats!

what was the price difference between the 17 and the 18? The models are basically unchanged so I couldn't justify getting an 18 over the 17
