Considering Purchasing CPO 2017 RDX with Technology Package
Hi All,
I am considering to buy CPO 2017 RDX with technology package.
The details are as below :-
Model - 2017 RDX with Technology Package
Total Mileage - 46,000 miles
Estimated miles driven per year - 22,956/yr
Original purchase month - June 2017
Car offered for sale - June 2019
It is well maintained car with regular servicing after every 6k miles like Oil and filter changed, new tyres, battery serviced.
My only concern is the total miles driven. It is driven almost 6k miles every 2 months.
The dealer final price is $27,000 including the CPO.
Is is good deal/car to purchase considering the total miles driven ?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Yash

listen, there will always be better deals...there will always be worse deals....
what you need to find is a comfortable fair price you're willing to pay.
if you're not willing to pay the $27k, negotiate or find one cheaper...
if you are willing to pay the $27k, go ahead and grab it!!!
the way you phrased the question sounds like you are willing to drop the $27k for it...
So go ahead and purchase it!!!
Welcome aboard! we look forward to seeing pictures of your newly acquired acura RDX!

I would do the same as @Rustle and look for something with less mileage. I would consider and 17 RDX with 35,000 miles max; but, prefer in the mid 20,000 mile range (10,000 -12,000 miles per year average for an used vehicle). It is a CPO RDX and the 4yr/50,000 bumper-to-bumper is about to run out before the next oil change. The CPO warranty covers a lot less items than the 4/50k. The CPO can vary from 1-5 years and additional 12,000 miles or up to 120,000 total odo miles (need to find out the details of the CPO warranty time). You would need to purchase Acura Care before 50,000 miles mark to extend the CPO warranty if it is the lowest coverage. This is assuming the CPO does have Acura Care and not a 3rd Party extended warranty.
I have a different perspective on this - 46,000 miles is not high miles for a car, and the miles driven per year is above average but is no cause for concern. If anything, it implies some highway miles, which are typically easier on a vehicle. Compare the price with other similar CPO cars, and if the price is ok, I think you are likely to be happy with it.
Hey everyone, I'm new here to the forum. I'm working on purchasing/leasing a 2020 A-Spec in either FWD or SH-AWD variation (white exterior, red interior). Any deals out there and any advice? This will be my first time purchasing a car. My timetable is the end of the month. I heard dealers give more incentives towards the end of the month. Looking to be an Acura owner soon.

I actually just purchased a 2017 CPO RDX... IMHO, I got a much better deal than this. Mine was originally sold 12/2016 which makes it almost three years old when I bought it. It had 20,400 miles on it and was a personal lease. The original selling dealer bought it back at the end of the lease because they were also the servicing dealer and knew its total history. It has roof rails and sport steps on it which come out to about $2000 extra when new and the dealer included a set of OEM all-weather mats in addition to the original carpeted mats. My price was about $1500 more than what's being looked at here. I don't know what the OP is looking at, but mine is an AWD model.
As said, there will always be a better deal out there than what you buy, but there will also always be worse ones. Take your time and look around. Know what you really want and know what you're willing to pay for it. And then go find it. I had to travel about 150 miles to get mine, but it was worth it.

And?
New models are turbo 4 cylinders not 6 cylinders, the newer models have lots of issues with the infotainment systems, and the vehicles being discussed here are AWD w/ Tech Package, not just base. So, not really following what the potential relevance of your comment is.

Seems to be a nice price, but I had bad experiences with turbo engines before ( BMW 6 series )
Longtime lurker, finally made an account to share pricing on my new beast --
2020 SH-AWD Advance -- White
Selling price -- $43,800
Dealer incentive -- $750
Final price -- $43,050
Standard TTL
For what it's worth, I used Acurazine as leverage. When I e-mailed the dealerships (nearly end of the month, naturally), I included links to TrueCar, KBB, and Edmunds pricing, but then included a few links to deals here on this thread, and said that I expect the winning dealership will meet or beat those prices. They kinda met -- seen a few deals better, a few worse. Either way, much better than TrueCar / KBB / Edmunds pricing. And the best part -- total time invested: ~5 hours, including car pickup!

For a 2020 new RDX with Advanced package, I was quoted a "blow out" price of $41,788 + $699 dealer fee and + taxes and registration.
This is the best deal I've seen, not that I've looked through all the posts here, but I was hoping to find a 2019 CPO for $40k-$41k. Any reasons to wait on this?

For questions, comments and what others have experienced, you may wish to post this in the correct forum area. We now have a forum dedicated to the third generation RDX. Here is the pricing thread for the 2020 ones:
https://acurazine.com/forums/third-g...20-rdx-981278/
my only thought about your question would would be that it is a little early for dealers to have CPO 2019s. Those are usually lease returns.
Once again, this is an old pricing thread for the second generation RDX. (2013-2018)

Sorry to bring this up here, but we were thinking to buy an RDX and found the following:
“A class action lawsuit has been filed alleging that a dangerous safety defect is causing 2016-2020 Acura MDX and 2019-2020 Acura RDX models to decelerate rapidly – rather than accelerate – when drivers step on the gas pedal.”
Have anyone here who owns RDX experienced this issue? How big deal can this be? Thanks!

After what seemed like an eternity of comparing the car I knew I should buy (RDX) to the one my heart thought it wanted (X3), I signed a lease for a Gunmetal Grey RDX Platinum Elite. It was going to be a lease anyway (business reasons) and the 0.49% interest rate was a huge factor (lowest available before up here in Ontario, Canada, was 1.9%, to my knowledge).
Since the wheels on the Platinum Elite (the "Advanced" package in the US) are, in my opinion, the worst off all of the stock RDX wheels, I negotiated to have the car delivered with Blizzak WS-80 winter tires on the stock wheels. This works well, because I hate when you get a new car and want better tires, and you are faced with the choice of waiting until the stock tires are worn or throwing out almost-new tires. I also negotiated a small discount on top of that. For context, those snow tires in 19" size are about $1,200. I found myself a bit disoriented negotiating a lease because the salesman kept pointing at the monthly cost but I think I did alright.
With about $3300 up front, it's exactly $700+ hst per month.
I'm VERY excited, and spending wayyyy too much time looking at wheels lately. The whole world is spinning.
EDIT: So, I looked at some of the huge MSRP discounts that some of you lucky folks in the US received lately and at first I was a bit upset, then I realized that after conversion, even with a US$6,000 discount off MSRP, the RDX SH-AWD Advanced is still a touch more than what I paid for my "Platinum Elite" at C$54k (incl all fees, not incl tax) after discounts

Just signed on a 2021 RDX Tech in white with beige interior. None on the ground in Massachusetts. We signed before the dealer even had the RDX. Also got top money for a trade but these numbers were established before the trade was brought into the deal.
MSRP $44,825
discount $3,925
conquest $1,500
sale price $39,400

I have an offer from a dealer for $574/month, taxes included, on a '21 RDX w/A-Spec and SH-AWD with a MSRP of $48,725.
Lease terms are 36/10 with $0 down (paying 1st month and DMV fees upfront; taxes rolled into lease) Thoughts? Too high? Too low? About right...?
This is in Chicago, IL where you're double-taxed if the vehicle is registered in the city.

You folks posting about RDXs newer than 2018, you will get better responses here:

I got the following deal in NJ done entirely over the phone.
RDX SH-AWD (Tech Package) MSRP: 44,845
Conquest: 750
Dealer Cash Incentive: 1000
Discount: 2095
Sale Price: 41,000
Doc fees and title were also cheaper than surrounding dealers at 499 for doc fees and only $100 to transfer plates. No other dealer offered me more than 500 dollar discount and incentives if any discount at all and were not willing to negotiate.
