I purchased the wife a 2018 CPO RDX w/ Tech Package.

I am finding that connecting a phone is a bit more difficult than it should be. Hopefully someone will teach me an easier way. So heres the situation.

If no phone is connected to the car I use the iphone to connect which works reasonably well with only a few menu selections. The problem arises when my wife has last driven the car and it is in the garage. When I get in the car and it is started, it automatically connects back to her phone which is inside. When I try to connect my phone I have to use the Acura infotainment system to go in and select my phone then I have to further go to the audio menu picks and select connect my phone again. Otherwise my "phone" is connected but not audio which I would like to use for Pandora.

Please tell me there is an easy way to discount the previous phone and connect another phone with only one or two menu picks.

If you just drive away, your wife's phone should disconnect when it's out of range (few hundred feet) and yours should connect automatically without having to change any settings at all. Try that and see what happens.

Also, if you have memory settings set separately for you and your wife, specific audio/infotainment/phone settings should be tied to the memory number.

I would prefer to connect easily prior to driving away. I don't want to fiddle with my phone a bunch while driving. If she happens to be in the car with me the phone won't disconnect.

As far as the settings go, I am Driver #2. The seats and mirror adjust for me. Doesn't connect to phone.....

Hope someone else knows a way to connect another phone easily.
