Anybody knows what color combinations are going to be available for 2016?

will they finally offer a white diamond pearl with black leather interiors?
Come on Acura, I have little kids and parchment is the last color I want inside.

 

Like you, I'm hoping black is available with more exterior colors (like the metallic blue) but based on the ILX and TLX configurators, I'm not holding my breath.

 

Actually every Acura model in white exterior offers black leather. All but the 2015 RDX.
Fingers crossed.

 

Acura just put up some new Youtube videos about the 2016 RDX (albeit most of them are super cheesy) - but the car they use has a coffee colored interior - I haven't seen this before so was a bit surprised.

Can you post a link to the video you saw? I only see the 7 videos posted 4 days ago and, as far as I can tell, they all have a black interior.

 

Ah Crap! Was watching late last night on my phone with the brightness turned all the way down. Looked Coffee/dark brown on my phone but I see now it is clearly black...Sorry to get hopes up, but they should offer a nice dark brown color if they want some more business...

 

So if the rumor has it right that we will see 2016 RDX at dealership on 04/16, then should we hear about pricing, new colors, ... etc by now?

I'm guessing 4/16 is the release date of the pricing and details. Also, the date when they will start shipping to dealers. Probably well into May before they start showing up on most dealer lots.

Couldn't find the source. I don't want to believe there's no color option for diamond white. Isn't it a luxury car, is it?

 

On the '15 RDX in Canada (ref. Build & Price at Acura.ca) when you choose White Diamond Pearl for exterior color the interior color choices are Ebony and Parchment. I would expect the same interior color choices on the '16 RDX for Canada. I can't believe Acura USA limits the RDX buyer to only the Parchment interior when specifying the White Diamond Pearl exterior. Seems like a very inflexible approach for a brand that caters to the luxury car market. What's up with that?

 

Especially when BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Lexus come with at least 3 choices of interior color for any car on their line up

 

I am also looking at the Lexus NX and find there are less than 20 NX's in the US with the Meteoric Blue exterior. I wouldn't be surprised if Acura has limited supply of the cooler colors. It is easy to find a white, gray, or black but Red and Blue are tougher for the NX.

 

Acura replied yesterday to my question, and they haven't released the color combos yet.
Really don't know where the user from vtec found those colors.

 

That's what I thought too as well. That blue '16 RDX (which I dig!) they have at the NY Auto show does not look like the Fathom Blue I've seen at dealership when I test drove the TLX.

 

Probably a dealer source. The ordering system is likely already live for a few weeks out and they can see trims, colors, combinations etc.
