Big door ding paint removed and exposed ! HELP
Hello all,
A nasty road debris, don't know what the s*** it was, left two long strips of ding and paint removed exposing the metal on the front right door and the lower plastic strip on the rear right door when travelling on a highway around 70 mph on my '13 rdx.
How to approach for this fixing this? I am going to contact dealer for repairs but needs some general inputs on
1) Repair method (ding is present , paint is also gone), do they replace the door or buff or tinker with it !!!?
2) Cost
3) Timing for whatever method above in 1
I really appreciate it. Any previous experience like this with anyone would help

A fair bet the dealer doesn't do the body work. Ask who handles it for them and go direct. In Austin, the body shop is actually part of the 'family'(David McDavid); but there is no advantage I can think of to having the dealer handle it. Prepare for a little sticker shock.
