I was told that each driver has their own audio presets. When I choose mine they override the other drivers presets. Any thoughts?

 

it's based on the key fob you are using. driver 1 vs driver 2. the MDX does this. i 'm pretty sure the 2G RDX does this as well.

 

Yes. That's the issue. I as driver 2 set stations and when driver 1 sets their stations, it also resets driver 2 settings.

 

hmmm...ask the guys in the dervice dept at the dealer.

that's weird. i'm really the only driver of the MDX. as far as i know...everything for driver 1 (seat, mirror, presets) is for driver one. no reset or override like your case.

i didnt know about this option until my wife took 2nd fob and went for a ride
she had to set everything up .....
so now every time she goes with the 2nd fob after me it automatically re-adjust to her settings...pretty neat i have to say...
radio, seats, mirrors......

 

Yeah - everything else works fine. Seats/Mirrors/Climate settings.

Just not radio presets. I tried unlinking the fobs but I couldn't even get that to work.

 

Still no word from my dealer - they have calls into Tech Line, etc. but no response yet. I hope it's just a glitch and reprogramming the fobs will work.

 

Can anyone with a BASE model in the US/Canada test this out for me?

Acura Tech Line told my dealer it's only on the tech package that the radio presets save per driver...?

I have a US base and the presets do not change automatically with the driver's fob. The salesman told me that they do not change with the fob when I specifically asked at delivery. Therefore I never tried it and was hoping he was wrong when I saw your post. I have now tried it and it does not switch between fobs.
