All windows opened
All windows opened
Weird thing happened when I touched the door handle to unlock my 2015 RDX Advance, every window opened on it's own, including the sunroof. Problem is, it was raining at the time. I don't remember reading about this in the owners manual. Did I touch the handle in a way that caused this to happen, or is this some kind of bug? Not happy about this.
Is it possible the key fob in your pocket was depressed at the same time you touched the handle? It is a two step process for me to press release and press and hold to roll down the windows on my 06 TSX or 11 MDX (RDX doesn't have roll down feature).
I had something similar with my 11 MDX when I put my keys in my pocket and walked away. The fob button sometimes get pressed in my pocket and start to roll down all the windows/sunroof as I walked away. I didn't notice until the end of day when I was leaving for work. A key fob case solved that problem.

The feature has been more trouble than helpful. I wish there was an option to turn it off in the M.I.D. I even had to get a FOB cover for my TSX like my MDX. Living +15 yrs in Albuquerque and numerous trips to Phoenix, Las Vegas and El Paso in the summer; I never had the need to roll down all the windows at the same time. Window tint and front windshield sun shade is more effective.

Not really. Since you can roll down windows without having line of sight, rolling them back up could cause issues if pinch protection fails.
All of these regulations came about because something bad happened at some point. I can research it one of these to see what happened.
It is like side marker lights. In the early 60's there were a few accidents in the midwest where some cars - driving at night - got t-boned by cars driving with their lights off. Thereafter, the regulators felt that side marker lights would solve the problem - amber in front and red in the rear so people can figure out what the front of the car is.
We have to regulate for the dumbest amongst us.

As others said, not via the key fob. However, you can do this via the door key slot. If you put your key in the slot and turn it to lock the car and then turn it again the same way and hold it to close all the windows. This isn't the handiest way to do it but it works.

I guess I get the idea that you wouldn't want to close it and pinch an appendage. However the fact that this is allowed in most other countries in the world, tells me that its a political-cultural reason.
