Anyone have any experience with the 2018 RDX Spare Tire Kit, PN 06421-TX5-A03ZA
Some of the websites I have been looking at for the part(s) are a bit deceiving. The photo shows a tire on a rim with associated tools but reading the reviews and fine print, I find the actual tire is not included. Thats not gonna be very useful.....
It looks like you're correct in assuming the tire does not come with that kit. For near $200 for the kit alone, I'd honestly look into junkyards to see if you could source one there.
Further, the tire is *allegedly* 165/90R17, though I'll confirm that later when my wife is home with the car. So with that tire size in mind, and knowing the wheel itself is 17x4, there's also the possibility of sourcing a similar spare from another junkyard Honda for cheap. I'd imagine the CR-V of the same timeframe has a similar, if not exact same spare. Who knows what other Hondas/Acuras would also suffice.

any idea what your wife’s spare is on her 18 RDX? I’m having the hardest time finding accurate information. Getting all sorts of sizes and answers. Don’t know what to buy and I’ve been searching for a week
