Hi! Wife drives a 2017 RDX with 60K miles. Had complained recently that car was jerking while driving around town. She pulled over and restarted but problem persisted. I took over the driving to duplicate issue. After two weeks of smooth driving, it acted up this morning. Basically, it gives a big jerk when moving from a stop position and then drives OK after that. I am thinking its a transmission related issue?? Had a similar issue 5k miles back (around 55K) and at that time it was asking for a transmission fluid change. Got that done at my local Honda dealer. So, that should not be the cause of this jerky motion. Any thoughts or input?

It's common on these cars. Make sure to have the transmission fluid changed often.

 

Could it possibly be a stuck brake?
