2016 RDX Advance - Fuse question

Anyone tap into the fuse box on a 2016 RDX Advance yet? Looking for a hot-on-start and always-hot circuit, in either of the front inside fuse boxes, to drive a Thinkware 750 Dashcam.

Don't mean to be lazy. I could just start experimenting, but would rather benefit from good advice of those who came before me

I'm currently using empty slot #28 as hot on start for my dash cam. Empty slot #1 is always hot.

Thanks NJRY000. But are you talking about a 2016 RDX Advance? Because the User's manual does not show slot 1 and 28 as empty in either the driver or passenger side fuse box. I can't physically check it out myself right now because I don't have the car in my possession. The camera is a xmas present for my daughters car. Comes with installation from Santa

Thanks man! The photo is great too. The users manual doesn't seem to indicate the slots are empty, but that fuse section on page 125 is only marginally useful. Probably need the maintenance manual to get better details. I'll follow your lead and I'm sure it will work fine. Thanks again.

FYI: Did the install using circuit #1 for Always-hot, and #28 for hot-on-start. Used low profile mini fuse taps to make the connection. Grounded to a nearby machine screw for the brake pedal assembly. It worked well.

Thanks again

Using 10 A or 15 A fuse?
