2016 RDX TECH - Glitch?
I have a 2016 RDX Tech and when I first picked it up, I had to basically set everything twice (with the same key). The map settings reset after stopping and restarting the car. The radio presets did the same and at one point my blind spot system kept showing a "problem" message.
All of the above have stopped after I reentered them twice. Any thoughts as to why this happened and whether it may occur again?

In this very forum are the TSBs that describe what the dealership is supposed to do to set the car up for delivery. You'll see, by reading them, that there's a lot of stuff that should be done before you get the car. Perhaps it wasn't all accomplished.
I've noticed my '16 Advanced is very sensitive to RFI. My garage door would sometimes open the hatch on my RDX when the door was operated. I once tried to pair a phone at a traffic light and quickly realized the RDX saw the bluetooth in every car and phone that was adjacent to me.
My key will absolutely not work if my Phone is next to it in my pocket.
I have operated the door lock from as far away as 1/4 mile. I've also operated it through many concrete walls at great distance.
Such sensitivity is necessary for many of the conveniences to operate.
It looks like a car. But, it is a collection several computers, wrapped in an antenna, protected by radar, cell service, and sonar.
Mine works great. But, I marvel at the fact that it does, given how complex it all is.
Get your phone away from your key!
