Hi! New here and just bought my wife a used 2014 Acura RDX AWD w/ Tech Package and she's wanting all season floor mats and cargo tray. So looking around my local craigslist, I see plenty of listings for floor mats that state "fits 2013-2015" and also other listings that state"fits 2016-2017" models. Found a guy that's selling his 2016 OEM all season floor mats and cargo tray for a good price.

My question is did Acura change the dimensions of the RDX floor mats/cargo between the years of 2013-2017?

Or am I right by thinking that any RDX floor mats/cargo from the years 2013-2017 fit in a 2014 RDX?

Searched around the sub and couldn't find an answer or maybe I'm just inputting the wrong key words but did see that plenty of people here recommend WeatherTech over OEM (so thats helpful).

Any info regarding fitment would be greatly appreciated.

The floor mats for my 2013 RDX (which was totaled in an accident) fit exactly in the 2018 RDX I replaced it with. I'm using the old ones during the winter to keep the new mats free of winter salt. So I suspect that 2016 mats would fit in your wife's RDX. Why not just drive over to the guy you found and try them out?

I searched just a bit outside my craigslist area that I travel and familiar with and that seller is about 60 miles away though his listing would save me over $150+ from buying directly from acura or hunting on ebay. I just didn't wan't to risk driving out that far just to find out that it wouldn't fit my wife's RDX. But now that you gave me some info (although unfortunate experience you had) about fitment, I'll reach out to him with confidence.

The Weathertech site shows that the 2014 and the 2016 part numbers for the front and cargo area are the same. The part numbers for the rear seats are different though.

Since Weathertech liners fit precisely, I think this information would be a good to prove that they are interchangeable, If you are buying a "less" precise rubber mat, you may find that the rear mat will fit close enpugh. or can be trimmed to fit.

UPDATE: So i went to go meet the seller and try the fitting to be absolutely sure that the 2016 All Weather Floor Mats and Cargo Tray fit in my wife's 2014 and you guys were right, they did fit. Also the seller had the Cargo Cover as well and threw it in for an extra $80. He basically wanted to get rid of all these accessories because he just bought a 2018 Model which the dealer threw in all the extra accessories for free.

All in total for the Floor Mats, Cargo Tray, and Cargo cover: $200.
