Just bought the RDX and plan to replace all three engine mounts. Does anyone have any experience replacing the rear engine mount? I think the front and passenger side one is easier to get to, but How do I get to the rear one??

 

It’s also simple there, but what is the reason for replacing the mounts? What's the mileage? Did you buy all the OEM for $1100?

 

jolt on acceleration, jolt on switching to R and D. Likely an engine mount issue, right? car has 100k.

 

It looks like it is, but how could this happen on such a small millage? I admit that one mount could fail, but I doubt that all 5?

 

I'll probably just replace the front one. OEM mounts cost so much.
