Check FAQ, I am surprised this is not in your owner's manual.

PS. just go to your dealer and swap that stupid thing

BrendanCL,
I think a few people (3-4) might've mentioned it but I don't know if anything ever came of it.

What's up dude...i hate to break it to you...but itsb/c of your intake or at least thats what they'll try to say...anyways, if it is slipping, its probably due to the clutch and i was told that it wasnt covered under warranty unless the car only had like a 1000miles or something on it...i would say just drive it til the clutch completely fails and hopefully by then someone will have an aftermarket one out....b/c i'll be damned if im gonna by another factory clutch, which will probably be more expensive...either way, good luck

ps-the only time i found that it "slips" is when i dump in to 2nd and the wheels spin, sometimes the rpms just rev up, then i lose power until i shift to 3rd

When does it slip? Putting it into gear? Flooring it?

it is actually doing it in all gears. when i am cruising, i will hit the gas and the rpms go up, then a second later, the car moves. same with shifting into gears. does anyone really know if the clutch would be covered under warranty? my car has 12k miles...

The clutch is definitely not covered unless it’s proven to be a factory defect upon removal.

Does anyone else drive the car or did it have excessive “test” miles on when you bought it?
I doubt this is the case as it would have shown up earlier, but I’m just asking.

It sounds like the clutch is spinning on the pressure plate. It could be an adjustment, but by now you might need a new clutch and Pressure Plate. I don't think I would replace one without the other.
