The Tranny petition

Only about 2600 signatures ...yet there are how many failure's ???? Who can possibly guess how many failures their are?


What about the ones on a multiple level ..some people have had 5 tranny's in 1 car ...simply staggering!

And the majority have had no failures, I would guess. Does ANYONE, except Honda, actually know what % have gone bad?

Are you saying that the majority of people driving these car's have had no failure's ?


I have to dis-agree ..if this many people on these borads have had failure's and multiple failure's you can be assured that there are so many more than are being recognised... How many people do you think that drive an acura come to these forum's ? VERY few in the realm of people that drive Honda/Acura's


Yes I am sure HOnda know's and as I stated it is no doubt staggering.

i agree... as usual a company trying to make a serious issue less than serious...

they need to address it... my tranny is ok, but i feel for those that have had issues... and i wont do the oiljet fix until i absolutely have to... i dont think that is a fix at all...

That Girl- I suggest perhaps starting a thread in the main forums (a poll rather) simply stating 2 things. (1) have you had your tranny replaced (2) are you on your original tranny.

perhaps we can get an idea (loosely of course) of %...
