hello

i saw an 01 CL type S the other day and i was very pleased with it, it has 113xxx km on it and rides very nice. I took it to my mechanic and he approved the car, but before purchasing the vehicle i was researching on the internet and i came across the CL tranny problem. My mechanic did not find anything wrong with the tranny for now. What do you guys think i should do? buy the car or are there tests or tricks i can do to find out if the tranny will give out

i bought a 01 CL type S last May at 95,5XX miles. I drove up to 99,XXX miles by December and my tranny went out. i paid 1200 for a used tranny and waiting to get it replaced. If reliable is what you're looking for dont buy it. Nice car. I love it. Not worth all the money i put into it tho...
