Well Crud Puppies !!!

Well . . .tranny number 2 is starting to sing Turn Out the Lights, the Party's Over.

What stinks is I only have 68k miles on the car, less than 49k on the 2nd tranny, but I bought the car on 3/29/2001 . . . yepper . . . 7 months past 7 years.

I called the dealership where I bought and just laid it out for them, so waiting to hear back on what if anything they will do.

Well . . good new. Based on the warranty calculations I just made it by 1 month.

I must not have read the fine print that it's not a straight 7 year 100k mile deal. There was some formula based on delivery and miles that put my warranty at 7 years 9 months or 109k miles.

And I get to run around in a 2008 TL . . . very nice, but would take some getting used to. It feels very different than my 02 . . and the seating made me feel like I was in a bigger car.

When was the 2nd tranny installed? Was it before or after 2/05? Glad it worked out for you and you got the 3rd tranny for free.
