Is something wrong with my transmission again?
I am on tranny #4 right now.
Today when driving to work, my 2002 TL-S started making some strange noises, it sounded like scrunching or chewing rubber. I took a look at my tires - everything looks OK.
Later today, I drove it again, it didn't seem to make that rubber chewing noise when driving forward, but when I drove in reverse it sounded to me like someone was popping bubble wrap. My friend who was outside said it sounded like something was clicking/hitting. We couldn't figure out where that noise was coming from.
Could this be something in the transmission?
