Redesigned transmission failure??
Anyone with a new "redesigned" tranny or whatever that is being claimed by Honda/Acura failed on them? If so, please tell us how many mile this "redesigned" tranny lasted you.

new tranny failed
My second and third tranny were the "new and improved" type. Second one failed after 4000miles. Third one is now slipping and does not go into reverse about half the time after 2000 miles.

Were your tranny made AFTER feb 2003 ? Check to see if that tranny replacement is MADE after Feb 2003, not installed by or after...check the manufacture date of that unit.
