Recall Notice from Acura Canada
Today I received the official Canadian notice re the automatic tranny 2nd gear inspection/fix.
The letter says:
Less than 24000 km they "perform a simple revision to the oil cooler line".
More than 24000 km they inspect the affected gear and "either install an oil jet kit or where discolouration was found, replace the transmission".
At 22,500 km I'm close to the magic 24000 km. Should I get the revised oil cooler line or wait until 24000 km and get the full treatment?
My inclination is to wait and make sure they take a look inside before any fix is done.
