Angry problems

alright, so three times today, i was cruisin at about 30mph, not sure which gear(i have an auto) and i pressed lightly on the accelerator and the rpms just went up, with no increase in speed, then i let off, and it caught back on, then i was driving just now, and the VSA exclamation point lit up, and the VSA light came on, AND the check engine light came on....i parked, turned the car off, then back on, and the check engine light was the only one on....WTF is going on, i know many of you will suggest the tranny is about to go, and i agree, but any other possible problems? im sure i need to make a trip to my acura dealer to get my tranny replaced though....ill probably take it up there this week...fuckin hell

You'll be fine, it's not 2008 yet and you're still under the 100K mark....don't sweat it man. Look at the bright side, you're getting a new tranny right before the end of your warranty, so this might be great timing...you're car showing you some love in a different kind of way. It could've died a few months into 2008 and then you'd be F@#KED

dont sweat it man. She'll back up and running in a few days..

Our TL had 38k miles on it when the tranny took a shat... Second one is holding strong as hell considering she has 120k on the clock now...*knock's on wood*
