so i start my car today and my check engine light and vsa light come on. so i look at it like damn whats wrong and start to drive. my ca never leaves first gear.
so when it idles it also sounds like its about to stall out and then revs back up to about 1k

anyone know if thats the tranny dead or is this a multilayer cake of problems??

sounds like tranny. try to get the code read and see what it is. and if its the tranny, see if the dealer will give you a new one. are you under 109k?

The idling issue definitly sounds like a vacuum problem...

well i started my car today and there was no idling isssue but it was still throwing all the lights, last night i undid my battery put it back on about thirty minutes afterr and all the lights were gone then about ten minutes later they all reaapeared and my car stalled out and my ebrake light came on for some reason...

Sounds like the tranny again... When the dash lights up like a Xmas tree, that's usually a sign...

yuh it was something with my throtttlr position sensor. the mechanic fixed it but said the problem will come back eventually so im looking for a new throttle body now

yea see, then thats how you know. always read the code first. then come to us if you need more help. the code will tell you whats wrong.

they never told me what the code was but from reading about trannys goin on here it was doin the exact same thing.
