Ever since I have my transmission replaced back in October 2005 my car idles rough. The needle doesn't move but the car shakes. It isn't steady.... more like every 2 seconds. Most of the time it happens when the car is warm and at idle in park. Very annoying. I took it to the dealer last week to have them check it out. They hooked it up to the computer and found no error codes. They decided to relearn the pcm and did idle learn. Now that I have it back the car does the same thing and now does it when its in drive and idling (Which it didn't before). What could be causing the engine to shake like this. I don't remember ever having the problem with it before the trans was replaced. Suckes when people get in and it is shaking...kinda destroys the Acura allure.

 

Maybe I should ask...what are the symptoms of a bad engine mount?

sounds like a motor mount to me also.

 

that's what did it for me. front motor mount replacement.

 

just got my tranny replaced as well(600miles) and have noticed that my rpms bounce a bit when i release from the gas..should i be getting this checked out asap?
