Hey I have a acura cl type s AT ive just reach 46k and thought I was in the clear and then my tranny just started to mess up LOL. I was on the highway and the rpm just jumps up on me and I didnt even go anywhere. Man I surely thought I was going to die that day. But yea I brought it to acura and they changed it so im on my second tranny but after like a day or two freaking it happens again but this time im at the stop light and it kept happening after I completely stop but yea acura says its the ecu but i unno any advice would really be appreciated!!!

 

Could it be driver's error? You know..... Even though Acura says it's not a big deal, you should still take it easy on the new/reman tranny and "break it in" before you wail on it.

 

Well maybe I did went a lil to hard on it. It was hot that day and I did drove a lil to much but yea its in the shop now and now I have a tsx as a loaners LOL i just be ripping that lil car up but its so sad no power behind the wheels lil 4 cyclinder. Thanks though
