DOes your tranny have to completely "DIE" before .....

The dealer will replace it....im taking my car in tomorrow for problems with my tranny..
1.) Revs up to 6k RPM without touching the accelerator
2.) Car is "jerking at times" when gears are shifting.
3.) Pedal feels COMPLETELY different..and that is hard to explain for me..
4.) it feels as if the car is "stuck" sometimes when i go to accelerate...the response is delayed considerably.

What should i do with this??...Should they replace my tranny??

Can i demand it be replaced??

One thing is for sure..they aint putting my ass in a f-ing BUICK again!!!

please help fellas.
thanks

They will replace it only if they can duplicate it.

Good luck

Yeah good luck...I've brought mine in twice...and both times they "haven't been able to duplicate it"...

I don't know what the dealer's response will be but I can say for sure your tranny is going to die. Those symptoms sound a lot like mine (except #1).

Took the car just in the nick of time...i STALLED OUT in front of the dealership..all the lights flashing on the dash...and i got the car to LIMP into the dealers lot.

I got a 2002 Chrysler Sebring 4dr to drive until tuesday..when they say they will have my new tranny...

My dealer did tell me that if it was gonna be longer than tuesday...he would give me a TL loaner...

This really sucks...im miss baby all ready!

Another One Bites the DUST!

Sorry I was right, but there was no doubt in my mind given the symptoms you stated and my own experience.

I too got a 2002 Sebring sedan as a loaner. It's no CL-S but it's not that bad. Then again, maybe it's better because I bet it won't have tranny problems. :P
