D5 flashing-update

Continental Acura took a look at the transmission, turns out it's the temp. monitor. There going to replace it next week, but said the tranny should give me no problems. What a relief.

Dodged the bullet. It was only the temp. sensor. Tranny has been fine. 33,000+ miles and still loving the car.

The temp sensor is something that you should watch..the fluid really just gets too hot. Good luck with the fix.

Tried to find the info, but....

I bought mine from Harvey Suga (TL-S) at Continental .. I think Ken Marcus is the manager there .. I had my tranny replaced after only 13K miles...

Best of luck to ya ... what a piece of crap car this has turned out to be!

My Dad's '91 legend with 140k+ miles experienced the same thing.
Connector problem with the sensor. D4 flashing (4-speed).
Tranny Downshifts on its own while coasting at 30mph once.

Replaced sensor and no problems. Regular fluids and filters replacement.
