Well..
Just to fill you in, go ahead and call Acura Care (should be on your keychain). Tell them all the information you just gave us, and they will have it towed to the nearest dealer. In the meantime don't drive your car (if it is at all possible).
The mileage you stated should have the car covered under warranty, and they should be giving you a loaner (even if it only takes a couple of days to repair which I doubt). The loaner should be paid for by Acura.
One word of warning tough, is to refuse the supplemental insurance the rental agency will more than likely try to persuade you to get. I made a mistake, and wasn't thinking and ended up paying 500$ out of my pocket because I was a dumbass and wasn't carefuly and got the supplemental insurance (they will be default cover you generally under liability under your insurance).
Hope everyone works out for you.

You should be covered and please check the other "suffering" souls over on the "Transmission Problems" forum.
The RPM going sky high in 2nd and/or 3rd (AKA flare) is a too-common experience for some of the auto trannies.
Mods -- please to move this over to Tranny land...
