For the first time ever, my transmission slipped big time. I was on my way back from the bank, and while cruising at about 40-50 mph, I gave it some gas. I literally got thrown forward, then backward into the seat. I immediately looked at the tachometer, and it had dipped down to about 500 RPM. Then it went back up as suddenly as it went down.

Trust me, this is not a usual transmission hiccup. This was pretty serious. One more time it happens, and she's going to the dealership.



Picked up on 1/2/03, 14,xxx miles on her.

Just got back in. She's driving fine now. Odd.

Oh, well. It's finals week, and I need the car to get around, so I really don't have a choice. I'm gonna keep driving until this weekend when I go home.

don't bother taking it in .. until the thing has gears layen on the ground (or flashing lights) .. acura will just pat you on the back .. say it is all in your head .. and send you home.
