Will this work?

Hi there

I purchased an 01 CL-S a couple of months ago and am now in the market for some rims.

I was wondering if 17x7.5 rims with a 42 offset and no drop would cause any rubbing issues?

Also, what rubber is recommended for these rims and would they fit into the stock CL-S rubber?

Thanks in advance!!!

17x7.5 with +42 will not rub, even if you're lowered.

IMO, save some extra $$ and get 18'sor 19's. Why get aftermarket when the stockers are 17's already.

Just for curiosity's sake, would the stock CL-S rubbers fit for the 17x7.5 rims?

Thanks again

I have a friend who has a set of Niche Spikes for sale. They look similar to a set that was on a red TL on this site.
