I have a set of SSR comp-C rims 18"x7.5 offset 42. I damaged one rim and need a new set for my CL-S. Its been super tough. I found a brand new pair off an acura tsx that haven't been used. Yet they're 18"x8 offset 48. My shop says they'll look identical on the outside but they will be really really close to the springs..... Anyone know if these will fit?????? Because of distance a test fit isn't feasible.....

They will fit just fine.

What about handling? Two of the rims are going to be 18"x7.5 offset 42 and two rims will be 18"x8 offset 48... Staggered doesn't exactly make sense for a front wheel drive car...
