will these rims fit? gianelle v-5
I am thinking about buying the following for my 2002 black cls:
Gianelle wheels "V-5" 18x8 inch black offset fwd
Tires: Wanli Z rated available in sizes 215/35/zr 18 and 225/40/zr 18.
Supposedly discounted wheel warehouse does all the legwork in finding the correct sizes according to your car model, but I wanted to check here first before I make a mistake. Thanks for the help guys, I appreciate it.

It depends on the OFFSET of the wheel and if you have a suspension drop on your CL-S.
All it says is “FWD” for the offset. They should give you a number.
Should be +45 or higher to be safe, but I’m not sure if it needs to be higher because it’s an 8” width.

You need to be as close to +50 offset as possible. The lower the number the more it stick out of the wheel well.
18x8 +50 with 225/40 series tires is perfect and allows you to slam the car without fear of rubbing.
Unfortunately, most wheels with those specs are multipiece and multi $$$

I have no drop, its stock height...the website says they calculate the correct fit for your car according to the year/model. They say they use "plus sizing" to determine the exact fit, so I'm thinking they did all the calculations. I have seen these same rims on different sites listed as "fittable" for the acura cl. Who knows? I sure as hell don't

If they’re so confident, get them to put it in writing that the wheels will fit and they will cover shipping, mounting, dismounting and return shipping if they don’t fit.
I bet they won’t do it.
Most places won’t take a return once the tire is mounted. And there’s no way to tell if it will rub until they’re mounted up on the car.
That is unless you have all the wheel data and you can compare it to previous installations like we’re doing here.
