Wheel fitment for an 01 CL-S??

Maybe someone can help me out a little. Will the wheels from an 05 Acura TL fit on an 01 Acura CL-S?? Just curious.

Thanks

yes they will.

I personally think the offset is too low so they stick out too much for my taste.
Are you dropped/planning to drop the car? If not I think they look terrible on a stock height CL.

^As NSX said, they will fit and will stick out a little bit more than the stock rims. I personally think they look fine as long as you are lowered on something.

They would look like this:

If you search the site you will see alot of members are running these wheels. As mentioned, if your not dropped they look like crap. Heres a pic of my car.

Thanks for the pics and helpful advice. I really like the look. Great cars!! I found some pics on here to see one at stock height with the 04-06 TL wheels and I think it makes it look slightly more aggressive than the stock CL-S wheels I currently have. I did not really plan on dropping it, (too big a boy to being getting in and out of a lowered car + it's a daily driver). Once again thanks for the help.

You only need to drop it an inch or so to make a big difference.

Lowering springs tend to swear out stock shocks faster, so if you can afford it, put on some aftermarket shocks. But since the drop on the h-techs is so little, you'll be able to just swap them and be fine IMO.

yea, H-Techs are so slight, you dont have to worry about aftermarket shocks right now. just when your shocks go later on down the road. Highly doubt a camber kit would be needed but definately get an alignment done afterwards to confirm that.

Hey aznboi2424 and gnuts thanks for the help!! I just had the timing belt and other maintenance done on mine yesterday. I found out I had two broken motor mounts as well (ouch). It set me back a little but I am going to look into those springs and shocks in about a month. I appreciate the advice!! I will be putting some pics up on here of my car shortly. Also aznboi2424 I love that airbag mod pic you have. That looks great.

Thanks, glad to hear we helped. those broken mounts are pretty common. If you have any further questions about your CL, feel free to ask and we'll try our best to help you. Its what acurazine is all about.

hey i got 2 questions, i have a 01 cl type s with the 05 TL rims installed. What is the difference between the tein h springs and the regular tein springs for the car? and using any one of the 2 would i need a camber kit or rolling the felder?, or would it be fine just lowered.

there are tein h-tech and tein s-tech. H-tech are very mild drop. Go on the Tein site and they will show you the differences, probably with pictures of each on a CL. S-tech's you may need a camber kit.

The Tein site has measurements and pictures but the pictures look all the same.

H-techs are 1.2in drop all around while the S-Tech are 2.1in front and 1.8in rear. I think the rims stick out with those wheels if im correct.

I'm lowered on Eibach Pro kits (2 front and 1.6 rear) with these wheels and 235 tires and the front are flush with the fender and the rears sit in a bit (thanks to -2 degrees camber). Man I wish I could find my camera Make sure you get an alignment if you lower your car as my specs were all jacked up after installing the springs and shocks (wait a couple of days first to let the springs settle in).
