Welp...I have finally done it...new shoes!!!!

Took a while, but finally broke down and went to 18s. Now, I just need to lower the car a BIT. I say a bit only because seems that if I drop it too low, I'll get it to rub and maybe even bottom out depending on the size of the bump. And since I do live in Houston...yeah....happens a lot.

Here are the pics...

I have posted this one on the Suspension board for suggestions, but for those who don't lurk that section: Any suggestion on a good suspension for this considering that I can only drop it about an inch or so? My main concern is hitting a large bump that will displace the wheel a lot vertically and cause it to "bottom out" in the well....so I need something that will give me a comfortable ride with minimal displacement....

Looks good, I remember meeting you at the Jspek meet. Sort of looks like you got the wrong offset. For minimal drop I would just stick with comptech springs. Good luck.

Trust me, you can ride low in Houston

like H-town said looks like you got like a 38 offset and you may need to roll your fenders if you drop it. Should sell them and buy the ones H-Town is selling.

You'll need a drop of about 1.25 or less...I'd be worried about the rear tire scraping the fender

Hmm...interesting...good thing I can still return them if it's the wrong offset and can't drop it much...don't recall seeing two of them, but then again...I could be blind...

htown, yeah, we meet last year at Bear Creek...good hearing from you again.

Anyone going to Driver's Edge in College Station next month?

Nice wheels, but you are working backwards. Lower, then wheels.
