Two Piston Calipers w/ 2 piece Rotors

Are there any affordable options available?

The two piece rotors from http://www.racingbrake.com/ProductDe...1%2D1&CartID=1

are crazy expensive, $650 plus $33 shipping to Ohio.

You add the SS brakes lines and and brake pads
and that total is getting very close to $1000.

Am I trying to spec someting that is not practical here?

I have searched and searched for 2 piece Rotors (OEM). If you can find it, by all means. Post links

I warped my rotors earlier this summer and after reading some threads here decided to redo my brake setup entirely w/ a little more stopping power for some fun on the mountain roads out at school.

I purchased:
NSX Front Calipers
EBC Green Stuff Pads All The Way Around
Goodridge G-Stop Lines
EBC Sport Rotors

All of the above was approximately $700 shipped which I didn't think was that bad considering all four wheels will have new parts.

Two piece rotors are more expensive to replace. If you want them they have the $1300 kit. You gotta pay to play.

Thanks for sharing your setup.

Are the rotors Slotted or straight OEM?

Any of you guys with the NSX calipers getting rubbing noise?
I installed my NSX calipers , raybesto rotors, and akebano pads and am getting a rubbing noise..
It seems to be there when braking and normal driving (coasting accelerating)
I think its the metal on top of the calipers..
Did u guys w/nsx calipers use that metal brkey on top of the inside caliper, if so do u get a rubbing!?!?

I did a set of 4 drilled and slotted rotors from Ebay (brakemotive) and so far they are great. I think it was $330 including shipping and with all the brake pads. I stop much better than with the stock brakes and they look great.

2 piece rotors are tricky. A rotora BBK with single piece rotor will give you a decent amount of caliper clearance, but with the same caliper and a 2 piece rotor, you WILL need a 10mm spacer to clear the wheels, also you will probably rub on the fender with the needed spacer. It's pretty tricky.

This kit will be more than sufficient for what you're looking for (esp if it's a street car):

If you want a 2 pc disc you'd have to upgrade to ROTORA's 2 pc 13" kit which is about $1750 shipped.

Can you use the stock rotors and OEM pads on the rear and focus the above mentioned upgrades on the front??

Have you tried piecing your kit together here?

http://www.heeltoeauto.com/Heeltoe-B...-pr-40009.html

We discount the Racingbrake pricing on there, and add free shipping to the whole order. Worth checking out because these parts are truly awesome.

Not all the time. The two-piece rotors only need the rings replaced not the whole thing. Plus the Racingbrake parts are heat treated for longer life. They are a pretty good choice really.
