tien ss coilover

i finally decided to lower my 4x4. i went with the tien ss coilovers. i got them from excelerate and i just finished the install and took it to get an alignment. the ride is very close stock and the 4x4 is no longer. i am very pleased with the quality and perfomance. and the best part about them is that if i want them lower and or stiffer it takes minutes to adjust and not hours. thanks excelerate.

i went two fingers in the front and bottomed out so i raised it one more finger. its not that noticeable and it hasn't bottomed out on me yet. i also use my car to load hvy things that really will not let me lower to one finger in the back....or perhaps you just have bigger balls. pics hopefully coming this weekend

How the quality of the ride? I have another thread about this, but after 3 years of stock shocks and OEM springs - My ride blows...I forget what stock feels like, but I think I remember it being a very nice ride

___

EDIT - It may actually be 4 years now...Wow! Time flies

the ride is very similar to stock. it's a little bit stiffer but with the ss you can adjust the dampening. if your looking for stock ride i would just replace with oem parts maybe even use better shocks but if you want it lowered and still feel close to stock then this is the way to go.

dampening adjustment on the ss

so i adjust the damper from the top of the strut tower. instruction says to turn all the way to the right and then 8 clicks to the left for recommended setting. after driving for a little bit i decide to make it a touch softer. so i go to the dial and it is all the way to the right already this can not be right. am i doing something wrong? why is the setting going back to the stiffest setting on its own? after i set it and drive for a couple of days the ride will gradually get stiffer? what is going on? has anybody else with ss notice this?
