Plenty are running them. They arent bad if your looking for more of a comfort coilover.

If you want something with much more adjustability and sporting intentions, look elsewhere.

I have a set of basics, waiting till the spring to put them on tho. From what I've read, there pretty much stock ride comfort. Maybe a little harder. But if you compare the teins to ksports, the teins are deff stock ride quality, and k sports I've heard are can be very stiff.

went from basics to ksports. IMO save your money and get ksports. i hated basics. i rubbed so much even on ronjon wheels. with ksports i am able to be slammed with zero rub.

The K-sports are better simply because you can adjust ride height on the shock body and not the spring itself, so you still have the correct dampening rates no matter what height you are set on.

Yes, they are much stiffer then Teins, but I prefer them.

personally, Tein is the best suspension i've ever had. The only thing i didnt like about it was that they wouldn't go low enough, only to where the tires are barely starting to tuck in.

I've been through Tein SS Coilovers, Ksport Pro, drop springs, cheap ebay coilovers.

Ksport were very stiff, i prefer a comfortable ride for a daily, and tein were the best

I second that...Tein is the bomb...I'm not a bottom scraper though, if you know what I mean. I keep the top of the tire JUST inside the finder, not slammed but it's perfect. I had megans in the past and the build quality wasn't as good in my personal opinion (no offense). And very stiff...in a TL, a luxury car, being able to be low and NOT too stiff is ideal to me.

TEIN coilovers are great for a daily driver who wants ride comfort and a fair amount of lowering; if you get the SS you can also have damping adjustment. K Sports offer more for the same price but they are firm and track-inspired. They also are not on the same level of quality as TEIN. K Sport does have good quality but TEIN is great quality.

I agree with the above 100%. It comes down to little nuances that I personally appreciate...like the threading on the Tein being thicker so it requires less turns to adjust height...the spanner wrenches are chromium something or other and much beefier. Just better in my opinion...not to say Ksport or Megan won't get the job done...but for a couple hundred more...I think I'll be a Tein customer for life.

I'm on Tein SS...I have 1/2" of thread left and this is how the car sits. Plenty low for my taste.
