Thinking about installing sway bars...
OK, so i finally saved up some cash to buy me some new parts. I already have Tien Basic Coilovers and an AEM CAI. I wanna install some sway bars. First things first, do i need them? Will it make a WORLD of a difference? If so do I need to get front and rear? What is the best brand? When I do get them, am I gunna need new bushings or they come with them?

the brand doesn't really matter it matters only the thickness... so far the thickest is progressive for the 3rd gen (will fit), second thickets that i know and have is the eibach for the 2nd gen cl, tl, and 6th gen accord.
rear makes a night day differance, trust me. most noticable suspension mod for our cars. the front is the same thickness so its not necessary, but u can anyways. might want to upgrade the endlinks and definitely the bushings if they don't come with it, but they should. endlings don't matter but i got it anyways.

i have the neuspeed front and rear sway bars
front: 27mm
rear: 19mm
i love them, i take on ramps to the highway at 65mph they really glue the car to the road.
i also have the neuspeed sport springs, its a good combo, great handling

See i checked out the neuspeed sway bars and they are more expensive which is cool but what i wanna know is how big is the stock front sway bar? Comptech offers just a rear swaybar thats 22mm. I saw a set of Eibach that were 27mm front and 23mm rear for $316. Neuspeed only had a 27mm front and 19mm rear for $448. Funny thing was the Eibachs were cheaper.

Went from stock to Comptech rear and there was a noticeable improvement in bringing the back end around in a turn. I then switched to the Progress rear sway because the increase in size and polyurethane bushings instead of the rubber ones from Comptech. Not much of an actual performance change there. For the front I changed to Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings and turn in was more responsive.

Well you and I are about to have the same suspension my brotha. Did you also install the endlinks on yours or rollin stock? I checked the energy suspension site and I have no clue is to what size I need to get. They are all universal. OH and when you got the Eibach sways, did they come with bushings? You come across any problems when installing them?

fair enough - I was just curious if there was any benifit to using the OEM - I believe the 3rd gen is thicker than the 2nd gen. I'll most likely just order the progress bar and leave it on the soft setting.
