TEIN S TECH, Eibach Pro, or H&R Sport?

Looking for the best ones. Just SPRINGS... maybe something else later... I have a 01 CL Type-S. I heard some of the Eibach VARY in drop...so which is the most consistent? or are all CL's different with the drop? I do everyday driving no racing, track or anything. Just want to get rid of the close to 4-finger gap in the well and make it look 'aggressive'

I say H&R sport. I have the H-tech and now in hind-sight wish I would have gone with the H&R's.

werd, I dont really think the H&R drop that much, and arent they kind of a raked look? The Eibach pro-kit has the best looking and lowest drop for just springs IMO

Stealth, I like the way yours is dropped...and the TL rims too. Is yours a self install or did a shop do it. and either way, what's the avg. price to pay for having the shop install em, just the price for installation.

I've been thinking of buying those....did you get struts too or just the spring....whateva you did....let me know how the ride is.....and if the outcome is good i might buy the pro kit and put it on my stock struts till i pass 64k when factory warranty goes....

My H&R sport drop had no rake, completely even drop. I actually wish it was raked, cuz now with my huge sub system its a little lower in the back.

All done. The drop is probably more than I would've liked, but it still looks nice. I guess it drops diff for every car. The ride was still very pleasant for me. obviously i can feel some bumps a little more, but i avoid them in the first place anyway. handling was noticeably better, can hang turns ALOT easier. I would say the trade-off is great! fun to drive now!

AcUrAge703 - Yes, I got only the springs, so stock everything else.

I'll post pics soon, left my cam at my friend's place

I have the Eibach Pro Kit with struts, springs and sway bars.

Switching to the Tein Super Street and EDFC.

I have replaced 2 rear struts from Eibach, and don't even have a stereo system in the car. They keep collapsing for some reason. They assure me they are working on the problem, but who knows how long it will be till they come up with a solution.

Don't mis-understand me, I loved the kit, and I still like the way it looks/ride height, it is just annoying that it continues to have problems.

I'm glad you got the Eibachs. I have the SportLines on mine ('Post yo pic' pg 5) & love the ride. I've done coilovers on other vehicles & it's not a good idea if you still want a somewhat 'cush' ride.

I had to eventually get the rr. coilovers since I went through tires about every 6-10 months!
I do miss the handling w/out the camber kit though as to I could take highspeed corners a bit faster but I like saving $ on tires.

Can't wait 2 see pics in the 'Post yo pic' thread!

so should i go with 18's? or stick with 17's? the servo's look sick, but i'm still looking around. just wondering if the 18 look would be too much with the drop. 19's....i really doubt i'll get em.

Looks good, man. I have the H&R's and I can tell you that yours is raked way more than mine. I went with h&R because I didn't want to mess around with camber issues, plus it was noticable yet subtle at the same time. IMHO, it has the look the CL should have had from the factory.

It's when your front end sits lower then the rear. Reverse rake is the opposite obviously.

The rise is close to stock, but obviously you get a few bumps here and there. I'm very happy with the look and feel. I'm gonna post some pics in the post yo pic section and photo gallery

I've had em for almost 3 months...handles/looks/and feels great. I did get an alignment, but didn't need the camber kit.

oops guess i answered that wrong...I didn't get anything else. just a standard wheel alignment at wheel works after install. All i've got is the pro-kit.

Looks good as hell!!

Hows the ride on those eibachs compared to stock?

Did you get someone to install those or did you do them yourself?

I wish I could've done it myself (why didn't I take an auto shop class?!?!?)...had a shop do it. Couldn't be happier with the ride.
