Nope. The Tein SS install is about as easy as a Honda suspension can get. Took me an hour in the driveway.

wow, this shop in my town said it takes about 3 hours to do the install for the tein basic because its tricky to get to the rear springs/shocks....

are they feeding me a line of bull or what?

Well, You do have to remove the rear seat to get to the tops of the struts, but that only takes a few minutes. For an experienced shop it shouldn't take that long. If they factor in everything such as cleanup and all that trash, I guess it would take three hours.

is the basic setup ok for day to day driving?

i was gonna get the ss, but it seemed like overkill....

i dont race and the guy at the shop said the basic had a decent ride and it was a bit cheaper.

holla,

kumar

I am very impressed with how smooth the ride is in the Tein. You would be happy with either setup. Neither of them are really "racing" setups, go with the basic and save a few bucks.
