Squealing tires

Im getting a little irratated with my tires. The car still has the stock setup with a little under 6K miles. The problem is that no matter how gentle I take off the damn tires squeal. I have checked the tire pressure and its about 35psi all around. This has only happened the last couple hundred miles. I have spun the tires a very limited amount of times and chirped second a few times, I would do it more but tire hop pisses me off. So the tire tread is still pretty much perfect.

Isn't that called poppin the clutch with a touch too much RPM? Will you be coming back with a bad clutch at 30K miles? YMMV

Ahh......I though someone would say that. Lucky for me thats not the case, as I said it has only started happening over the last couple hundred miles. Too further prove my point, I let out the clutch with just a hint of gas just so I can fully release the clutch and once I start rolling if I ease into the throttle it still does it. By doing this I have completely taken the clutch away from the problem.

I know the feeling. Especially when leaving a light that's on a slight incline. It's hard to get away quickly without the tires howling in protest. The clutch takeup can be a bit unpredictable at times also. Seems like it grabs in different pedal positions. I can't wait to get better tires but I may wear these out first. FWIW if the tires are slipping the clutch is not. It's actually easier on the clutch to let it out quickly without much slippage.

Have you checked your tires??? Your alignment might be off...thus causing not enough rubber to be in contact with the road...also the OEM tires are shit..

Just wait till it rains. My Dunlops do pretty well on dry pavement, but it takes a lot of effort not to spin through 2nd in the rain.

I've got some brandnew Bridgestone Potenza S03s I'm thinking about selling. Check the "back to school SALE" in black market.

I've got a completely stock 6spd and I have problems too with the shitty tires squeaking too. It only happens when I'm on the gas a little bit too much tho'. If I drive like a grandfather it's quiet

I can roll in first gear, punch it, and it will start squealing when the secondary intake runners open up.
