I would stick with hub centric spacers (64.1mm) just to keep vibrations down.

they are rings that have an outer diamater to match the wheel and inner diamater to match the hub....when you order them you need those two numbers

agree with this.
You will get vibrations since the wheel will be riding on the lugs instead of riding on the hub.
It will work but ride quality will be reduced.

Anything more than 10mm get extended studs or adaptors.

H&R spacers should come with new studs. I bought 10 mm and had to install the the longer ones.

Measure the center bore of your aftermarket wheels before you buy hub-centric spacers. I bought the appropriate size for my car, but my Work wheels have a larger center bore and it doesn't touch the hub-centric rings at all. I do have vibrations in the steering from this.

EDIT: I bought mine from Options Auto Salon. 10mm require longer studs which come with the spacers.

IMO Id run longer studs if you are running 5mm or larger spacers.

Works have a 73mm hub bore IIRC. Stock is 64.1mm.

My Work's have a 64.1mm center bore. Best thing to do if you don't know the center bore is to get a caliper and measure it.

Sorry, I had that backwards. civicdrivr is right. Stock is 64.1 and Work uses a 73.1 center bore.

so the real question here is how does the ichiba v2and others like it work? you bolt it on your stock lugs i know that part but the stock lug sticks out... so how would your wheel fit on the spacer? wouldnt the lug be in the way? would you have to shave the stock lug down or is it just simple and easy.. bolt spacer on then just put wheels on? sorry if this is a noob question

Most wheels have webbing on the pad:

The stock lugs fit into that empty space. Might not work for all wheels though.

I had to remove my old studs and press in the new longer studs that came with the 10mm H&R spacers. I'm almost positive the 2nd gen CL will have to do the same.

The Ichiba spacers have built in studs IIRC. The whole appeal to them is you dont have to replace your stock lugs.

No kidding, wish I knew that. Replacing the studs isn't that bad. Took about 45 minutes per side with air tools. If Ichiba makes it that easy, that's the way to go.

ichiba v1 you have to replace the stock bolts with the provided bolts ichiba gives you... but the v2 you just bolt it straight up to the stock lugs and torque it down...

Might have better luck in the 3G section. I dont think many people run spacers over here.

Even hgubcentric spacers will tend to vibrate, the wheel is going outboard too much and will put too much stress on the suspension ball joints, etc. Best bet is to find wheels that fit. Makes no sense to look good and drive like crap.

Wink

I've been running 10mm spacers that are not Hubcentric with 3" ARP studs and rays lugs torqued at 85lbs for 2 years on both my cars. No vibration at all and I've ran 110mph+ a few times, and felt nothing.
