My 2003 CL when sitting still or driving and slow speeds and moving steering wheel back and forth quickly I can feel a pop coming through the steering. I have about 120,000 clicks on the odometer. I think the route of the problem is the steering rack. I replaced the lower ball joints (due to slack/play) and this did not effect the pop in the steering. Has anyone else run into this problem? I was told that if I got a remanufactored rack it could turn out to be the same and I wold be better of getting a new one. Does anyone know about this?
