Rim was eaten by curb

I just scratched the shit out of my rim (stock cl-p) leaving a pep boys trying to get new wiper blades, towels, and maybe some rhino ramps to keep my car looking and running nice.
I end up leaving the place and having to buy a new rim.
I checked the blackmarket and only saw one user selling 4 rims.
I only need one, so I found one on ebay its like $165 shipped.

Do you think its a good price?

Should I just buy a set of 4 cl-s rims? What's the price on those?
I was also thinkin about the tsx rims, but they are a little expensive for me right now.

I wanna stay stock acura for rims.

Thanks

Depending on the scratch, you could get it fixed.

How bad is it? Is it leaking? Just deal with it, save the cash and get the TSX wheels. I had a wheel fixed at Wheels America and they did a pretty good job and it onlt cost me $135.

its pretty bad.. no, you know what its really bad.. its not like ure normal rash..
theres chunks missing from the two of the wheel "spokes"
I have the cash, i just didn't want to go spending hundreds of dollars on new rims when i was happy with these..

I would spend $400 for the TSX wheels and tires as opposed to $165 for 1 wheel.

Which are lighter, the type-s rims or the tsx rims?
I'm assuming the cl-p rims are the heaviest.

I think i'd rather put the type s then the tsx.
But since I can get the cl-p rim for $170 shippped brand new it seems like a good option.

Pointless to get CLs wheels to use as your "summer" wheels. If you have too, get the stock CLp wheel and if you feel like getting flashy wheels look at some 18's or something.

If you plan on getting a set to use year round, sell your good wheels and use the cash to buy the Cls or TSX wheels. I think you should be able to get at least $200 for a set of CLp wheels on ebay even if one is curbed and with the $170 you were going to spend to replace the curbed wheel, that's $370. Spend $30 more and get the TSX wheels.

Just to let you know the 2006 TSX wheels are different than the older models.

2004

2006

I dont like the new wheels, and do not think it would look nice on the CL

You're right, duh... haha

It'll cost around $100 to ship a set of wheels and tires. I say buy truexh's.

I don't think I read of anyone that actually liked them.

I did put one on my car. I went to my mechanic and he had a brand new TSX with about 500 miles on it. The chick that own it didn't see the curb and messed up a wheel. He put one on my car for me. It looked weird. I really didn't like it.

2004 acura TSX for the win..

look for pictures of ravi's car; it looks super clean, actually better suited in my opinion than the stock '01 wheels.

Ravi's car now belongs to North Plainfield Nissan. Traded it in.

Here's what it looked like with the 04 TSX wheels. These wheels should show up on a fellow A-CL member's car soon.
