I have rota slipstreams, and theyre 11.7 lbs per rim which is pretty light. mine are 16's though, the 17's can't weight that much more

certain ssr wheels and kosei wheels are very light foe a 17 inch wheel. don't forget that some tires are lighter than others also.

SSR competitions are your best bet. but the originals are not made anymore. No one has them new. You may find a used set pop up on Ebay. They were 12lbs each in 17X8 +48.
Tire rack claims to have them but when you call they are on backorder. Been on backorder for months now.
The Rota ones normally do not fit the CLS. The offset is usually too low on the slipstreams I have seen for sale.

From experience though don;t go too light. Lighter rims actually give you less traction once you get below a certain rotational mass figure.

is there a specific reason why you want light wheels? are you going to be racing?

yeah, I was experimenting with some 16 lb wheels in 18" x 8.0" and 235/40/18, hooking up was a problem, even getting on it it tends to lose a bit of traction, with the SC of course. I guess in order to make use of the ultra light wheels, tires (probably non-street legal ones) would have to be used.

I had 17x7 Centerline Storms (+42) and had zero traction problems. I did have drag radials though, so that makes a difference. lol

They were cheap too, like $100 piece or so.
