Quick "offset" question

hey, i found these wheels that i really like:
5x114.3 w/ 45+ offset 19 inches
Will those fit my car (2003 CL-S with Eibach Pro drop)? I knoe oem tires offset is +55. What is the difference if they have different offsets?

45 is too low for a 8" wide wheel. You need at least a 48 offset to be safe.

I would think so as well. I want to drop my car lower but it appears that i will rub if I go any lower. Thats with a +53 offset...
