Ok, spring question...

Used springs ~ what do I look for? This guy is selling me his CHEAP. Can springs be f'd up? He said there are some scratches, and I know the model will work on my car BUT do springs have a life expectancy? He's had them on for a while.

They're H&R sports... anyone know how well these hold up over time?

The scratches *might* be an issue.

You would want to know if they are through the springs' powercoat.

H&R are blocked and cycled to prevent sag (factory process to "prevent" sag).

They have a powercoat finish. If you have a scratch that removes the protective coating (powercoat) and live in an area where there is water, salt, and/or snow, you could end up with some corrosion issues.

Call H&R if you really want the entire low-down.
