Noises from springs???
About 6 weeks ago I got the HR OE Sport springs installed on my car and a short time later noticed a clunking sound coming out of the rear when I hit any kind of bump at all in the road. Worse with passengers than without, but its there pretty much all of the time. Any one else experience something like this or have any ideas what the problem could be. Car only has about 21K total miles, so I doubted the problem was the shocks. thx for your thoughts.

Did you transfer your rubber sleeves from you stock springs? That may solve your problem, I too have H&Rs and transfered the sleeves over and have no noises.

AuCLsMan,
Thanks for your input! I was sort of thinking the same thing. The stock
shocks seem pretty stiff and didn't really want to go any stiffer so, just
thought about the Spring idea alone...BTW, where did you buy your springs??

I am hearing a similiar noise when I go over big bumps or when I have 3 plus people in the car over small and big bumps. I have comptech springs with tokico blue shocks and I started hearing the noise after the install. The noise primarily comes from the rear passenger side. I want to make sure they did the install correctly, what can I look for? I know the rubber sleeves where mentioned, would this apply to the tokico shocks? Also bump stops were mentioned, would I be able to see these by looking at the car?
