New Rims...will they fit?

2001 CL type S, i just got some 18x8.5 32 offset and im lowered on tein ss. will they fit and by the way im using some 225/40/18 tires. please help guys.

should fit. tires should have a slight stretch on them. might need a fender roll so it doesnt rub.

thats not a wide wheel nor an aggressive offset.

thanks for the input...any CL drivers wanna chime in because i hear we should keep our offset between 42 and 50. is this true?

My 18x8.5 +43mm with 235/40s rub occassionally up front. The rears dont anymore because I rolled the fenders and shaved the bumper tabs.

That's not true at all. Those are a wide wheel and an agressive fit. I'm running 18x8 +35 and i had to roll the rear + shave tabs and i rub on a hard turn in the front...and i'm not that low. If you run some camber you can do it.

lol because my set i got now is 18x10 +38 in the rear and my last set i ran 18x9 +30 or +32 i forget in the rear. roll fenders and camber.

I like camber but didnt want to buy the front kit...Im pretty sure i have the rear since im dropped like 2"...i guess it will all just be trial and error

its gona rub over harder bumps. I had the same size/offset with shaved fenders. I didnt have a camber kit though i know that will help a ton
